Our Story
MoonShot’s American founder, Matt Lynch, began his career at Disney World, where he discovered a passion for creating guest-focused cultures built on staff engagement and memorable experiences. He went on to lead guest experience for major U.S. organisations — including the Atlanta Braves and the College Football Hall of Fame — before bringing that expertise to Wembley Stadium in London.
Seeing the contrast between U.S. and UK approaches to guest experience, Matt recognised an opportunity, to drive a cultural shift built on staff empowerment, enthusiasm, and genuine engagement. That mission led to the creation of MoonShot.
Starting with London Stadium and the NFL, MoonShot has since grown rapidly, helping organisations across the UK, Europe, and beyond build guest-centric cultures and deliver exceptional fan experiences.
“Moonshot was founded on the premise that every person matters. From the cleaner, to the safety team member, everyone has a story.
We believe the caretakers of those moments are those front-line staff that you encounter along your journey. They are there in plain sight, to celebrate with you the moments happening right then. We believe in making people feel special, both staff and fans. We believe that every story matters and that people inherently want to make other people feel special. We believe in people that have a purpose in what they are doing, and the magic that can create.”
- Matt Lynch, Managing Director, MoonShot
We are lucky to serve in the places where people come to create those memories that are special to them. From sporting venues, to the world’s largest events, we serve the fan in these moments. Fans come for different reasons, maybe to remember a friend, spend time with someone they haven’t seen in years or just to be present in the moment. These moments are real, and they matter.
