MoonShot Elevates Guest Experience at Major U.S. Arena with Comprehensive Staff Training Program.
MoonShot, a leader in enhancing guest experiences at large-scale venues, recently delivered a five-day intensive guest experience training program for frontline staff and associated partners (including Aramark - the venue's food and beverage provider), at one of the nation’s premier arenas. The venue, home to the NBA’s Washington Wizards, NHL’s Washington Capitals, and Georgetown University Men’s Basketball, also hosts concerts and a variety of large-scale events.
Leading the effort were MoonShot’s Director of Operations, Jenna Matsushita, and facilitator Victoria Rossi. Over the course of the sessions, they prepared staff for the arena’s ongoing renovations, ensuring a seamless experience across newly developed areas.
The training program focused on elevating service standards across all levels of venue operations. Key components included:
Frontline Staff Training: Engaging and interactive sessions designed to equip staff with knowledge and tools to enhance guest interactions.
Management Guidance: For internal managers to ensure consistent knowledge sharing.
Leadership Workshop: Targeted development for supervisors to strengthen operational oversight and decision-making.
The program also offers flexibility through webinars as well as additional sessions both in-person and virtually, to support ongoing training needs.
“Empowering frontline staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences, especially during periods of change like renovations, is at the core of what we do. By combining operational insight with engaging and immersive training, we help venues ensure every guest interaction is memorable.” - Jenna Matsushita, MoonShot Director of Operations - North America.
This program underscores MoonShot’s commitment to enhancing the guest experience across major arenas through frontline staff training and engagement, setting a new standard for service excellence in sports and live entertainment.
