MoonShot delivers another successful NFL FANSFIRST! program to Super Bowl LIX frontline TEAMMATES in New Orleans.

This February MoonShot celebrated it’s 7th year of supporting the NFL in their fan experience at the Super Bowl. Crowds of fans lined the Crescent City's streets around Caesars Superdome, immersing themselves in the unmissable events in the days that led up to the game.

In the run-up to Super Bowl Week, MoonShot hosted virtual webinars and in person training sessions for over 8000 Super Bowl LIX frontline staff and volunteers, where they shared the NFL common purpose; putting fans first to create excitement and lifetime memories, and the service quality standards expected of them outside of their normal job role.

Throughout the week, MoonShot provided on-the-ground support, delivering the NFL FANSFIRST! recognition program to frontline staff and volunteers. The MoonShot Team, made up of best-in-class guest service operations professionals from around the world, took to the streets of New Orleans to meet the Super Bowl LIX frontline TEAMMATES, providing motivation, showing appreciation, and recognising and rewarding them for carrying out NFL service quality standards and expectations. MoonShot believes that having a dedicated recognition team, allows the operational professionals to focus on the logistics of the event, while ensuring the frontline staff stay motivated throughout, to deliver the values they were trained on.

“One of the key elements of the FANSFIRST! programme is recognising TEAMMATES. Small gestures go such a long way with simple things like saying thank you to someone for doing a great job, to handing out a cool backpack because they consistently upheld the standards and went above and beyond for the fans. When someone has been recognised for going above and beyond, or they see their friend being recognised, they will continue to excel and will take pride in their job and role. This automatically transfers to the fans as their positive energy radiates from their smiles. There is a great saying ‘...people will never forget how you made them feel’ and it is the staff and TEAMMATES that have that influence on fans. We all want to feel appreciated and the FANSFIRST! Recognition programme is something so simple but has a huge impact on everyone.”

- Jessica Howse, MoonShot Operations & Training Manager / SBLIX Recognition Team Lead.

Over the whole event, there were close to 10,000 recognition stories entered into the event’s FANSFIRST! custom app which allowed frontline staff to share recognition moments. The MoonShot Team also handed out an incredible 30,000 Super Bowl LIX pins, 16,000 pieces of candy, 150 mini-Super Bowl LIX helmets and 65 limited edition Super Bowl LIX backpacks to staff for achieving the quality standards in action.
